The Lumber Wizard is a powerful precision hand-held metal detector utilizing the same technology as many security detectors commonly used inside airports and prisons. However, the Lumber Wizard departs from other security-type detectors with added features for woodworkers. The Lumber Wizard provides powerful precise detection of small metal objects that can be buried up to 4" inside new or used lumber. It includes a special "vibration alert" allowing easy use in noisy workshops, or by hearing impaired.

The grand finale to this impresive line-up is the Wood Scan Wizard. The very unique metal detector will be a welcome addition to woodshops everywhere. The Wood Scan Wizard is a special "loop" style metal detector that allows wood and lumber to be passed through its 8" tall by 14" wide scanning loop. Wood or lumber is scanned with powerful coils that can penetrate up to 3" thick on all sides of a piece of wood in a single pass. The Wood Scan Wizard can sit on top of a saw table or workbench for wood to be passed through its loop or the unit can be swept over the wood by hand. The Wood Scan Wizard retails for $135.00.
